What is the Shipping Process?
An initial mailing label is generated at Shadow Creek Archery following your order. You will receive a notice that the label has been generated. Please note, this label is used throughout the production (e.g., Custom Series) and packaging process. Once the order has been manufactured/assembled, the label will be scanned, and a second notification will be provided that the order has been shipped. All orders are sent via USPS. The scanning of the order by USPS is outside the control of Shadow Creek Archery. Typically, the tracking number is active via USPS late the same day or the following day (excluding Sunday).
Left- or Right-Handed?
The “handed” determination for your bow is determined based on the arm that one uses to pull back the string. For example, if you pull the string with your right arm then the bow is a right-handed model. If using the left arm to pull the string, then you have a left-handed model bow.
What Comes with My Side Plate Order?
Custom Series – Custom side plates, Quik Stikz, and Riser Skinz
Hunter Series – Hunter side plates, Quik Stikz, and Riser Skinz
Winter Series – Winter side plates, Aero-Gel insulation, Quik Stikz, and Riser Skinz
Custom Orders
If no dealer is located in your area or the color combinations you are looking for are not available at the dealer, Shadow Creek Archery will gladly produce a custom set of side plates for you via the Shop page on this website.
Materials
All materials used in Shadow Creek Archery side plates are handmade; no stock blanks or materials are used. Our process of production results in one-of-a-kind grips that are uniquely yours.
Winter Series
For Winter Series installation, use 3M Black super weatherstrip adhesive for a more secure fit.
Installation Instructions
1) Remove factory grip
2) Thoroughly clean residual adhesive from riser
3) For Winter Series grips, peel brown paper backing from insulation strip and place on palm of riser in line with where heel of hand makes contact.
4) Place Riser Skinz on back of riser aligning mountains down the center line (over insulation strip for Winter Series grips). Small tab should wrap up into area between forefinger and thumb on riser.
5) Working one side at a time, tightly work the side of the Riser Skinz down onto the side of the riser. Repeat for the remaining side.
6) Peel the paper from Quik Stick and place on corresponding shaped side plate. Quik Stick should be placed towards center of side plate.
7) Remove remaining paper cover on Quik Stick and place side plate against bow over the Riser Skin wings. Position plate flush with arrow shelf and pushed forward against front riser ridge. Press firmly onto both side plates to provide solid adhesion.
Warranty
We stand behind all our work and warranty against any defects in work or materials for one year of the delivery date. We will replace the product at no cost to you. All warranty grips must be sent back to us for further inspection. This will allow the production team to see what went wrong and prevent it from happening in the future. The only thing Shadow Creek Archery does not cover under warranty is damage during installation such as over tightening screws or using non-recommended solvents and glues.
